The Belgian Group for Endoscopic Surgery remains one of the most active national movements in Europe.

The New Board was elected at the General Assembly in Oostende, lot of new projects are on the way - stay tuned!

Our main goal remains to establish contacts among all surgeons involved in this fast evolving domain . A cooperation agreement has been signed on nov. 14, 2000 with the KVGH-SRBC. We are currently merging with the other Belgian Surgical Societies to develop a common portal at www.belsurg.org.

The BGES now offers a Combined EAES-BGES membership with "Surgical Endoscopy" at reduced rate; see "About Us" then "How to be member" below.

The Starter and Warmup Packages and Advanced course in Strasbourg (organized with the BAST and Tyco) offers exciting perspectives to discover new colleagues.

Congress-Trip to ARGENTINA this year, combined with the 78º CONGRESO ARGENTINO DE CIRUGÍA; our first LIVE CONGRESS in Brussels last year was a success.
